Dear Team:

The team was terrific in today's game. The rules require roster batting and also require that no player can sit on the bench two innings in a row. Nevertheless, it seems that confusion -- even as seven new players had to enter the field every single inning -- was kept to a minimum! I certainly was proud of how we hit through the entire lineup and made plays in every position on the field every inning.

PLEASE NOTE: No matter what you see anywhere else, here is tomorrow's game information. Pelham Dodgers (visitors) will play L/M Garden Catering (home) at 12:00 noon at Flint Park in Larchmont. Please plan to have your player at the field by 11:00 a.m.

Here are directions to Flint Park, according to the league Web site:
"Take I-95 North. Exit at Exit 17, "Chatsworth Avenue, Larchmont". Make a right at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp onto Madison Avenue, which becomes Myrtle Boulevard. Make a right at the traffic light onto Chatsworth Avenue. Continue 1/2 of a mile. Make a left at the traffic light onto Boston Post Road (US-1 North). Continue 1/10 of a mile. Make a right onto Bronson Avenue. Continue to the end. Make a left onto Locust Avenue, which leads into the entrance to Flint Park. This is the baseball field at the far back end of Flint Park."
IN CASE OF RAIN
I promise to do everything I can to make a rain call and communicate it by email FIRST and by team Web site as soon as possible tomorrow morning. The weather looks challenging tomorrow. By 10:00 a.m., the chance of rain is now forecast as 90%, so please watch carefully. I have the opposing coach's contact information and the league president's contact information and will be badgering them as early as possible tomorrow morning.

As always, a copy of this message has been posted to the team Web site located at http://pelhamdodgers.blogspot.com/

Best regards,

Blake
